example of the believers

from Sari:

This week I was having a hard time with my friends because they were making me feel like junk.  I was then reading this scripture and it really hit me how true this is:

1 Timothy 4:12

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.  Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands...  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly unto them; that thy profiting may appear to all.  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thee, and them that hear thee.”

I want to tell how true I know that this is that if we follow these instructions we will not only change our lives for the better but those around us.
